WATSON: The death of Katherine (Kay) Watson occurred suddenly at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, May 21, 2007. Kay was born in Brandon on January 6, 1926. She worked for a number of years in ladies retail clothing in Brandon. She enjoyed many years of bowling in 5 pin leagues and especially enjoyed her years of shuffle boarding and bingos at the Legion. Kay also enjoyed her many shopping trips with her good friend Lois Bentley. Kay was predeceased by her husband Ralph in January 2007, her parents, and a brother Tony. Kay will be lovingly remembered by her son Grant (Shirley) and grandson Kyle. A sister Agnes Garnham of Brandon and a sister Mary Hlady of Dearborn, Michigan also survive her as well as numerous nephews and nieces. At Kay's request no service will be held. A private family graveside service to inter Ralph and Kay's remains was held at the Brandon Cemetery.
