PAGE: Kathleen Anna Marie Page (nee Doyle) of Brandon, beloved wife of Rene, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2004 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Kathleen was born on August 23, 1952 in Brandon, the daughter of Leo and Kay Doyle. She enjoyed riding horses as a teenager and graduated from Neelin High School. Kathleen then attended ACC and graduated with a General Secretarial Degree. She married her high school sweetheart Rene Page on July 10, 1971. Together they had three children; Darian, Scott and Amber. Kathleen worked many jobs in sales and service before settling as a bookkeeper at Roy, Johnston & Co. She was a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and enjoyed showing dogs, where she succeeded in achieving several Canadian Championships with her Papillon dogs. Kathleen also enjoyed bowling, gardening and sewing. She is survived by: her husband Rene Page; children Darian Page (Carla Howell), Scott Page (Mary Lepine) and Amber Page (Patrick Podjan); parents Leo and Kay Doyle; sisters Marion Doyle, Carolyn Doyle and Laurie (Marcel) Hetu; grandchildren Drianna, Jazmin, Conrad, Savanah, Dylan, and Tanisha. She is also survived by her nieces Jennifer and Jolene; nephew Aaron; sister-in-law Dale Page; mother-in-law Thora Page; brother-in-law Gordon Barron and her five wonderful Papillons. A Memorial Celebration will be held in honor of Kathleen Page (Doyle) in the Imperial Ballroom at the Victoria Inn, 3550 Victoria Avenue, on Sunday, March 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Kathleen to the Canadian Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 2B7.
