PEMKOWSKI: Katharina "Kathi" Pemkowski of Brandon passed away at the Assiniboine Centre on Sunday, November 28, 1999. Kathi was born on December 22, 1941 in Steinbach, Manitoba, daughter of David and Susanna Wiebe. She married Richard Pemkowski on February 9, 1963. During her lifetime, Kathi raised two children, worked with Brownies, helped grade five students with reading programs, and ran a daycare for almost ten years. She was a member of the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Brandon Ladies Auxillary #112, U.C.T. Kathi enjoyed people, sewing and crafts. She is survived by her husband Richard; son, Richard Andrew (Tricia) Pemkowski; and daughter Dianne Patricia Pemkowski; five brothers and six sisters. Kathi was predeceased by her parents; one sister and one brother. The Ceremony in Celebration of Kathi's Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Thursday, December 2, 1999 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Joy Ruddock will officiate.
