Josephine "Josie" Gustafson
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josie at Fairview Nursing Home on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 87 years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 65 years, Alvin. Left to mourn her passing: son Curtis and grandchildren Paige, Jesse and Cory; daughter Sharon (Craig) Forsyth and grandchildren Amber (Aaron) Brown, Chase (Savannah) Forsyth and great grandchildren Georgia and Braeya. She will be remembered by her sister Eileen Stan of Dauphin, sisters-in-law Vivian (Reg) Shortt of Barrie, ON and Emile Cale of Strathmore, AB.
Josie had a love for crafts, especially cross-stitching as well as gardening. The yard always had beautiful flowers in bloom. Being a great cook, she never let you leave without a meal or a snack and of course, a cup of coffee. She loved to volunteer at church and the Nearly New Shop.
Josie was a loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family loved and appreciated her. She will be missed.
A private graveside will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens at a later date.
