WAGNER: Joseph "Joe" Clyde Wagner, beloved husband of the late Rose Wagner, passed away in Brandon, on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Joe was born February 2, 1925 in Brandon, Manitoba to Beatrice and Ora Wagner. Joe married Rose Basaraba on March 22, 1952 and together they were blessed with five children. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his children: Delvin (Fran), Connie (Stan) Farquhar, Jane, and Robert (Tracey); his dear grandchildren: Eric, Lyle, Ian, Ann, Allen, Michael (Dara), Brayden, Colin and great-grandchildren: Dylan, Dannika and Deegan. He is also survived by his siblings: Mary Holly, Grace Winsor, Jean Simons, Sandra Johnston; brothers-in-law: Adam, Alex (Mary), Walter (Annette) Basaraba and Gordon Berry; Iris and Dora as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his son Grant; parents Beatrice and Ora; in-laws Annie and Nick Basaraba; siblings: Alice, Jack; brothers and sisters-in-law: Emil (Pat), Harry, Bill, John, Peter, Joe (Daniel), Eunice, Mary Struck, Polly Kusznir, Ale, Dale, and Eric. The Graveside Service was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Wednesday October 8, 2008. Pallbearers were Eric, Lyle, Ian and Allen Wagner, Michael and Brayden Farquhar. The Ceremony to Celebrate Joe's Life followed at Knox United Church with Rev. David Cathcart officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
