Obituary

MCLEAN: Joseph "Joe" McLean was taken from us on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Joe was born on May 31, 1912 in Graysville, Manitoba, the son of Errol and Edith McLean. He will be remembered by his loving wife, Arleen; brothers, Bill (Edith), Hector (Emily), Art (Doreen), Wes (Joan), Frank (Cheryl), and Lloyd (Beth); sisters, May (Vern) and Muriel; sister-in-law, Elyda; and brother-in-law, Dr. James (Theresa) Parrott. He is also survived by three children, Norma, Neil and Dorothy, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Errol and Edith; brothers, Neil and Errol McLean; and sisters, Essie Taylor, Velma Riter and Evelyn Keele. The Graveside Ceremony will be held at the Brandon Cemetery, Veterans' Section, on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 2:00 pm. The Rt. Rev. James Njegovan will officiate. Friends who are unable to attend the graveside service are invited to meet the family for a time of fellowship and refreshment at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street, from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Joe to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 3-824-18th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 5B7. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to memorieschapel@mts.net. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
