LEVESQUE: Joseph Albert Levesque, of Brandon, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on November 29, 2008. Joseph was born at Sayabec, Quebec on January 29, 1921. He was a flying officer in World War II and worked in the forest industry from Quebec to British Columbia. He was certified in electrical and electronic systems. In his mid seventies, Joseph took classes in computers and systems at the Brandon University so that he could understand them and get one of his own. Joseph was proud of his knowledge of electricity and electronics. He was a member of the Legion and the Knights of Columbus. Joseph is survived by; his wife, Rosemary and his six stepchildren. Joseph leaves his children: Diane (Ken) Sexton, Lorraine Levesque, Ronald (Nan Dyer) Levesque, Yolande Levesque, Carol Anne (Joe) Krohn and Michael Levesque; eight grandchildren and ten step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren. Two sisters: Marcelle and Carmen also survive. He was predeceased by; his first wife Rhea and brothers, Victor and Gerald and one sister Germaine. In keeping with Joseph's wishes, a private family graveside was held at Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 4, 2008. Fr. Joseph Choji of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church officiated.
