John Edgar Downing passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 68. John was born in Virden on January 19, 1953. He loved camping, fishing, hunting and riding his side by side, especially in the winter to push snow. John had retired from construction work with Ballingall Brothers. He will be sadly missed by his partner Laura Loewen, brother Bill (Phyllis), nieces Tracy (Dale), Nicole, and many family and friends. The family will cherish John's memory privately.
