BOCKER: On November 1, 2008, God's gentle hand reached down to take our beloved husband, father, and father-in-law, to His Kingdom. Remaining to cherish his life forever, John leaves to mourn, his loving wife of 66 years, Mary; his only child, Gail Karpo and son-in-law, Nick. He is survived by two brothers: Nick and Peter (Connie); one sister, Helen (Bill) Karpo; sisters-in-law: Mary Bocker, Emily Kuzik, Nellie Prokopchuk, Sadie Prokopchuk, and Ann Henry; one brother-in-law, Alfred Peabody, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceasing him were his parents, Theodore and Pauline Bocker; brothers: Steve and William Bocker; sisters: Katie, Stella Peabody, Martha Piniuta, and two siblings in infancy. Also predeceasing him were brothers-in-law: Mike, Metro, Peter, Steve, and Paul Prokopchuk, Mike Kuzik, Lance Henry, Russell McLaughlin, George Bates, and Harry Piniuta; sisters-in-law: Elsie McLaughlin and Doreen Bates. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Holy Ghost, with Rev. Fr. Michael Skrumeda officiating. Interment was in the Brandon Cemetery.
