Mr. Jie Sai Choy passed away on April 25, 1999 at the age of 76 years in the city. He was born on August 20, 1923 at Sheipo, Ling Ping Village Tai Shan, Canton, China. He came to Canada in 1987 where he lived for 6 years then moved to Boissevain for 3 years and then returned to Brandon. Mr. Choy is survived by his wife Qiao Li of Brandon, sons: Song Chaun & wife Shui Ying of Toronto, Terry & wife Ling of Boissevain, Song Chop & wife May Yuk of Toronto, Daughters; Li Yue & husband Yiu Wai of China, Li Shan & husband Yuk Yan of Toronto, Grandchildren; Holly, Tess, Don, Tang, Chui, Angie, Johnathan, Jason, Kin-Man, Wilson, Wendy and Kelly. Also surviving are: his mother Chui Woon Choy, brothers; Allen Choy & wfe Judy of Strathclair, Hant Choy & wife Dawn of Brandon, sister Yiu & husband Chiu Tai of San Francisco and sister-in-law King Choy of Brandon. There are eighteen nephews and nieces. Mr. Choy was predeceased by his brother Sik Chum Choy. Funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street, North on Wednesday April 28, 1999 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be in the Brandon Cemetery.
