"Please God take a message to my husband. Tell him how much I love him and miss him. He is sadly missed but forever remembered. I will Love You Always" ~ Donna, your loving wife.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jerry Andresen whose strength, kindness, and compassion touched the lives of all who knew him. Jerry passed away on February 19, 2026, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Assiniboine Centre, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work.
Jerry was a man of great character, always ready with a funny story or a memorable experience to share from his past jobs. Whether it was sharing a tale from his work life or lending a hand to a friend in need, Jerry’s generous spirit was evident in all he did. He was a skilled and resourceful individual, capable of taking on anything from building to welding and mechanical work. His talents were not only applied to his own home but extended to those around him, as he willingly offered his expertise and time.
Above all, Jerry had a deep love for his family and animals. His wife, Donna, was the center of his world, and together they created a beautiful life on their acreage. Jerry’s passion for his horses and cats was unmatched, and he dedicated much of his time and energy to ensuring they had the best care.
Jerry will be missed by his wife, Donna, who sends her love to him always and forever, his sisters-in-law, Gail (Doug) Kinney and Shereen (Billy) Macdonald, his sister Harrietta (Paul Young), his brother Larry Andresen, as well as his extended family. He was predeceased by his brothers, Jim and Fred Andresen. His warmth, humor, and generous heart will remain forever in our hearts.
A private family ceremony will be held in May in Carberry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Brandon Humane Society 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6.
