In Loving Memory of Jerrett

A Life Well Lived

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Jerrett Glenn Rewerts, beloved
husband, beloved father, beloved son, beloved brother and beloved friend, who left this
world on February 11th , 2025. He was 39 years old.

Early Life
Jerrett was born on February 17th , 1985 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Collin and Betty. The
youngest of three boys, being a child of an RCMP member meant that there were a lot
of moves in Jerrett's young days, each filled with their share of memories. From Cross
Lake, to Morden, to Flin Flon and finally settling in Brandon, Jerrett met many friends
and made many memories. Many of the staples of his youth were exploring the
outdoors, be it camping, fishing in both the summer and winter, swimming, ski-dooing
and hunting for crayfish, frogs, salamanders and turtles.

The love for family and travel was nurtured early with many a trip to the grandparents
farms in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan and Morden, Manitoba where cousins, cookies,
ketchup chips and movies awaited. Big family trips saw Jerrett visiting Disneyworld,
the Black Hills, Vancouver and eventually Australia.

Starting in Flin Flon, Jerrett started to take a keen interest in organized sports enjoying
early summers playing soccer and the winter months playing hockey. His passion for
hockey culminated in a Provincial D title. Prior to Jerrett's step into adulthood, he and
his brothers and numerous friends all played hockey together in a recreational league
that sparked many a memory.

Education and Career
Jerrett attended Vincent Massey High School where he graduated in 2003. He later
pursued higher education at Red River College, earning a diploma as a Class 3, Power
Engineer.

After graduating from Red River, Jerrett returned to Brandon and embarked on a
successful career in power engineering. Jerrett's drive motivated him to continue his
studies independently and his efforts culminated in achieving his Class 2 Power
Engineering certification that secured him a position at the Brandon Regional Health
Centre.

Adult Life
The lasting friendships that Jerrett formed during his high school and college years
played a big role in how he spent much of his time. Whether it was travelling with trips
down to Lake Metigosh to snowboard or a March Madness (basketball) trip to Colorado,

Jerrett cherished spending time with his friends.

Jerrett was an avid gamer throughout his life, starting all the way back in Cross Lake
when his Dad brought home a Commodore Amiga. As he grew up, his love for video
games flourished spending many a nights with family and friends battling it out in such
games as Starcraft and World of Warcraft. If things got really serious, Jerrett was
never afraid to step into a game of Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero to throw
down a beat with his friends.

On the active side of life, even though Jerrett hung up the skates he continued to keep
active playing ultimate frisbee, tennis and floor hockey.

Family Life
Jerrett married Stephanie Walker on October 3 rd , 2015, and together they built a
beautiful life on their acreage filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. They
were blessed with two children: Gage Merrick and Caden Cooper, who were the light of Jerrett's life.

Jerrett and Steph worked hard developing their property to provide a fun and
memorable experience for all their family and friends. Jerrett spent many an hour
ensuring his pool was well balanced and maintained for friends and family to enjoy.

Camping, travelling and family get togethers continued to be a big part of Jerrett's life
with Steph and the boys. Many a trip were had to Manitoba's southern lakes, but also
larger trips to Western Canada, state side and the Bahamas.

Legacy
Jerrett's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his
family. He's instilled in his sons his love of hockey, the outdoors and even video
