Obituary

HOLLEMAN: Jannetje Cornelia (Vanden Nieuwendyk) went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2000. She was born September 1, 1906 in the Netherlands and came to Canada in 1951 with her family. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour and Lord in 1981. Jannetje was very thankful and always sang about her Lord. She was a loving mother and she loved having her grandchildren around her and later enjoyed her great grandchildren. She was a hard worker and was always ready to help. Jannetje resided in Brandon until 1993 when she went to live with her daughter in Three Hills, Alberta. She was predeceased by her husband Pieter in 1982. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by 3 sons and 1 daughter: Arie "Jack" (Margaret) of Brandon, Abraham (Sereina) of Hancock, Minnesota, Maria (Gerrit) of Three Hills, Alberta, and John (Marie) of Brandon; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great granddaughters. The funeral service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330 - 18th Street North, on Friday, June 2, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. E. Busink officiating. She will be carried to her final resting place by: Ronald Holleman, Annette Holleman, Peter Vermeer, Gerrit Vermeer, Allan Holleman and Mark Holleman. Interment will be in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Mrs. Holleman may be made to Gideon Bible Society, P.O. Box 20060, Brandon, MB, R7A 5Y8 or a charity of choice. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
