TREMAINE: Janice Elaine Tremaine of Brandon, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2004 at her residence. Elaine was born in Brandon on September 15, 1950 and spent her early childhood in Boissevain and Miami, MB. She received her education at Green Acres Elementary and Harrison High School. Elaine has resided in Brandon since 1961, has been the caregiver for her daughter and was a baker at Sweet Temptations. She enjoyed being a leader with Scouts Canada (Beavers), word puzzles, jigsaws and spending time with her grandchildren. Elaine is survived by: her son, Michael (Laurie); daughter, Theresa; mother, Anne (Dave) Shadforth; brothers, Ken (Gloria) Heide, John (Sheila) Heide, Art Heide; sister, Sandy (Jim) Hicks; grandchildren, Becky, Emma, Kyla Tremaine; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Henry Heide in 1962. A time of visitation for family and friends was held at Memories Chapel on Monday, July 26, 2004. The Graveside Ceremony was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Monday, July 26, 2004. Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood officiated. Pallbearers were: Chris Ridgen, Corey Roberts, Scott Gadsby, Ken Heide, John Heide, Christopher Heide and Bill Kinchen. Honorary pallbearers were all those in attendance and those that were present in thought and prayer. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Elaine to a charity of their choice.
