Janet Mary Smith beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and widow of Gordon Cecil "Deacon" Smith, passed away, with family at her side, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, January 1, 2000. The ceremony to celebrate Janet's Life was held at St. Matthew's Cathedral on Wednesday, January 5, 2000. The Very Rev. Jim Njegovan officiated. Flowers are gratefiully declined. Friends may make a donation in memory of Janet to the charity of their choice.
