NEVISTIUK: James Michael Nevistiuk of Brandon, formerly of Thompson, Manitoba, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, May 3, 2007. James was born at Boulton, Manitoba on November 4, 1932 and raised on the farm in Inglis, Manitoba. James worked for Sherrit Gordon in Lynn Lake and then at Inco in Thompson for thirty-one years in transportation, driving trains. In 1992, James retired and moved to Brandon. He loved to fish, garden and work on his lawn. He also enjoyed doing crosswords and watching hockey. James will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Alice; sons Allan (Christine) and Ward; grandchildren Stefan, Cory and Deanna. He is also survived by his sisters Val, Audrey, Sylvia, and Mary; brothers Bill and Andy. James was predeceased by his father Sedor; mother Elsie; brothers Steven, John, George and one sister Leena. The Ceremony to Celebrate James' Life will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Hospital Chaplain, Joanne Biggs will officiate.
