BROWN: The death of James Percival Albert Brown, beloved husband of Patricia and dear father of Tim and Michelle, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Monday, May 17, 2004. BROWN: The death of James Percival Albert Brown passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre on Monday, May 17, 2004, after a long battle with cancer. Jim was born on February 24, 1946 to Florence and the late Alex Brown of Saskatoon, SK. After Jim completed his education in Saskatoon he worked as a tool and die machinist. In 1967 Jim married Patricia Lindsay of Whitewood, SK. They had two children, Tim and Michelle. Jim and his family moved to Brandon in 1972, where he found work with Behlen Industries. In 1980 the Brown family relocated to a hobby farm outside of Rivers, it was Jim's life dream. Here Jim was able to spend many hours with his horse's and dog's. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, horseback riding, feeding the birds and other outside activities. In 1981 Jim went to work for State Chemical and then in 1998 he worked at Tempo Place and Lounge, in Rivers, until 2001 when be became too ill to continue working. Jim was predeceased by his father, Alex in March of 1978. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Patricia; son, Timothy (Pam), precious grandchildren, Kristy and Matthew of Neepawa, MB; daughter, Michelle of Brandon, MB; mother, Florence; brother, Ron (Marlene) all of Saskatoon, SK; and many nieces and nephews.
