TRAFORD: Isabelle Lillian (nee Boles) passed into the presence of her Lord at Fairview Personal Care Home on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the age of 101 years. Isabelle was born November 12, 1912 in the District of Cornwallis to George and Ellen (nee Stanley) Boles. She was the eldest of a family of eight, survived only by a sister, Mae Gray, and sister-in-law, Grace Boles. She attended a one room school in Gorrie District and had many stories that she told her family about her school days. Being the eldest, she worked with her dad in the fields and in the milk delivery business. Later she worked for her cousin, Luella Trent in "Trent's" Bakery and Restaurant (on Rosser Avenue). She also worked for many years as the seamstress at the Brandon General Hospital. She retired in 1967 and with her husband Reg, moved to New Westminster, British Columbia. She returned to Brandon in 1997 to the delight of her family here in Manitoba. She is very greatly missed by daughters Doreen (Garth) Woods, and Sandra (Keith) Barrett of Brandon, Sharon (Norman) Eyford of Delta, B.C., Dianne (Deiter) Rink of Calgary, Alberta; son Wesley of Langley, B.C.; daughter-in-law Beverley Traford; thirteen grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Reginald Traford, son Albert "Pudge" Traford and son-in-law Jim Figol. All are welcome to attend the Graveside Service that will take place at Rosewood Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Pastor Gary Jennings will officiate. A Come and Go Memorial Reception will follow at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
