CLARK: The death of Isabella Clark (McCallum), occurred at her residence, Fairview Home, Brandon on Wednesday, May 9, 2007. The Ceremony to Celebrate Isabella's Life will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 339 12th Street, on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Dr. Dale Woods will officiate. CLARK: Isabella (McCallum) passed away at her residence in Brandon on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at the age of 85 years. She was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 30, 1922 where she was raised and educated. Isabella was very proud to have served in the British Army ATS Royal Artillery Battery in World War II. She met Robert McCallum who was serving in the Canadian Army. They were married in April of 1943 in Glasgow, Scotland. She came to Canada in 1945 with other War Brides to begin a new life on the family farm in Riding Mountain, Manitoba. She raised five daughters in Brandon then ventured with the youngest daughter to British Columbia where she lived until 1998. Due to failing health, she returned to Brandon to live and eventually to reside at Fairview Home where she enjoyed her last five years in the care of her "Fairview Family". Isabella is remembered by her five daughters: Marg Woods (Hal Tanasichuk) of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ann (Rob) Jupe of Vancouver, British Columbia, Pat (Barry) Cowan of Brandon, Manitoba, Betty (Larry) Gillis of Brandon, and Chris (Stan) Matsuda of Kelowna, British Columbia. A private family graveside service was held at the Veterans' Section of the Brandon Cemetery. The Memorial Service to Celebrate Isabella's Life was held at First Presbyterian Church, on Monday, May 14, 2007. Rev. Dr. Dale Woods, assisted by Arlene Robertson officiated. Honorary Pallbearers were Isabella's eight grandchildren: Scott Woods, Jeff (Tracy), Brett (Dena) Cowan, Kelly (Dayna) Cowan, Devon (Travis) Gillis, Tory Gillis, Travis and Brenden Matsuda.
