McGIBNEY: Isabel M. McGibney, beloved wife, loving mother and treasured
friend passed away Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Brandon Regional Health
Centre after a fierce battle with cancer. Predeceased by sister Nora
Harach, she leaves to mourn her devoted husband Andrew, her best friend who
shared her life for 48 years; cherished daughter Laura-Lee and son in-law
Bruce Warren of Invermere, British Columbia; sisters Jean (Albert) Frederick
of Virden, Manitoba; Margaret (Ray) Finlay of Merritt, British Columbia; Jim
(Phil) Black of Quesnel, British Columbia; Myrna (Hugh) Drake of Elkhorn,
Manitoba; Doug Black of Ochre River, Manitoba; in-laws Sam and Marlene
McGibney of Virden, Manitoba; many nieces and nephews; numerous dear friends
and her daughter's much loved dog, Ruby. We will especially miss Isabel's
sense of humor, her gift for friendship and her vibrant zest for
life. Her passing was a loss, but her life was a true gift. In accordance
with Isabel's wishes no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken
place and interment will occur at a later date. Flowers are gratefully
declined. If friends so desire, donations in Isabel's memory may be made to
