HAMILTON: Isa Bella Mitchell Hamilton
Isabel passed away at the Assiniboine Hospital on July 11, 2008 at the age of 82. She is survived by her husband John (Jack), her son David (Lisa) and their sons Devin and Ian of Brandon, and her daughter Anne Hamilton and her daughter Jennifer Thiessen of Graysville, MB and stepsons Steven Thiessen of Vegreville, AB and Michael Thiessen of Outlock, SK.
Isabel was predeceased by her parents George and Annie Watson, her brother Bill and his wife May (Lawson) of Waskada and her son-in-law Victor Thiessen of Greysville. She was born in Brandon on January 28, 1926 and attended King George and Alexandera Schools and Brandon Collegiate.
Isabel worked at the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba and Brandon Health Unit. At age 17, she joined the Heather Club of First Presbyterian Church and was an active member all her life.
The service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 339-12th Street on Thursday July 17 at 2:30 P.M. and conducted by Arlene Robertson. Interment will follow at the Brandon Cemetery. For those who desire, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 339-12th Street, Brandon MB, R7A 4M3 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
