BUTLER: Ida A. (nee Craig) Butler, passed away at her residence, Hillcrest Place, 930 - 26th Street on Wednesday, December 8, 1999 at 97 years of age. Ida was born at Strathclair, Manitoba on June 2, 1902
but lived at Elphinstone during her early years. In 1924, she married Ernest Foster Butler and has resided
in Brandon since that time. Predeceased by her husband on October 8, 1980, she is survived by her four children. Doris (Ron) Kinsley of Pembroke, Ontario, Ernie (Rose) Butler of Edmonton, AB, Cy (Hazel) Butler of Brandon, and Ken (and friend Dianne) of The Pas. There are also 14 grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held at Memories Chapel on Saturday, December 11, 1999 at
11:00 a.m. Interment followed in the Brandon Cemetery. Arrangements were with Memories Chapel &
Pre-Planning Centre. The family would like to thank the staff at Hillcrest Place for their understanding and excellent care they provided for our mother during her stay at Hillcrest. It was greatly appreciated.
