WOOD: The family of Helen Josephine Wood, age 106 years, announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Helen is the beloved mother of Donald (Alice), Kenneth, Richard, Ella Macmillan, Cathy (Ernie) Wilcox, Barbara Wood, Emily Sutherland, Brenda Wood and Pat (Gary) Wheeler. Family and friends were invited to a time of visitation at Memories Chapel, 330 18th Street North, on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Helen's life took place Saturday, January 5, 2013 at McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church, 635 McDiarmid Drive. Pastor Earl Ricalton officiated. Interment followed at Brandon Cemetery.
