Helen Loreen Veenbaas (nee Gallinger) died peacefully in her sleep with family by her side on Wednesday, January 24th, 2001 at the Riverdale Health Centre, Rivers, Manitoba. Loreen is survived by her children: Faye, Albert, Marg, Lois, Maxine, Butch, Fred, and Diana. She was predeceased by her husband Frank and son Daron. Funeral service was held at the Rivers United Church, Rivers, Manitoba on Saturday, January 27, 2001. The Rev. Glenna Beauchamp officiated. Interment was in the Rivers Cemetery.
