ZAHARCHUK: Hazel Eugene Zaharchuk (nee Smith) of Brandon passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, November 7, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill). Hazel was born on September 24, 1918 in Onslow Station, Gloucester, Nova Scotia. Hazel was an accomplished seamstress for over forty years and made many wonderful friends during this time. She is survived by many sisters and brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews. The graveside ceremony was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Friday, November 13 at 1:00 pm. Mona Franklin officiated.
