HULBERT: We, the family, are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our loving husband and father, Harold Hulbert on October 29, 2007 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Harold was born on August 2, 1946 at the Minnedosa Hospital and grew up on a farm in Bethany. He attended school in Bethany and Minnedosa, and helped his parents with the family farm until he moved to Brandon in 1965. Harold worked in the electrical industry until his passing. On January 3, 1966, Harold began working at B.A. Robinson, which switched over to Eecol Electric in 1991. In 1980, Harold married Karen Lowe, and in 1983 their son Kevin was born. In 1984, Lisa arrived to complete the family. Harold was an avid reader, loved to garden, and enjoyed all card and board games. He loved history, photography, and painting, and there was nothing that he could not fix. If anything was a challenge, Harold would stick with it until he figured it out. Harold enjoyed sports and took a real interest in whatever Kevin and Lisa participated in, but his real passion was golf. He always worked to improve his game, and spent as much of his spare time as possible at Sunnyside Golf & Country Club. Harold's number one interest was always his family, and together they treasured the time they spent together. It meant a lot to Harold that we always ate supper as a family. Harold was predeceased by his father Bert; mother Adele; father-in-law Roy and brother-in-law Walter Gray. He is survived by his loving wife Karen; dear children Kevin and Lisa; beloved cat Missy; sisters Sylvia Hulbert, Valerie (Lionel) Glaser; nieces Wendy Martin (Elizabeth and David), Elaine (Tony) Gonzales (Jessica, Alex, and Morgan), Angela (Dwain) Deal (Jeffrey, Andrew, Colette, Rebecca, Megan and Paul), Alison Howard; mother-in-law Jean Lowe; sisters-in-law Donna Gray (Erin and Matthew), Betty Lowe and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Harold you will be missed so deeply and we know that we will meet again. The Ceremony to Celebrate Harold's Life was held at Memories Chapel, on Friday, November 2, 2007. Colleen Gareau officiated.
