MCBURNEY: Gwen McBurney, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully with her daughter Kerry, at her side on June 30, 2005 at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Winnipeg. Gwen was born in Brandon in 1943, living her younger years in Souris. She moved to Brandon in the late 1980's to work at Super Thrifty Drug Mart. She loved her job and meeting people. Her later years brought her great joy in spending many hours with her grandchildren and being involved with their sporting activities. Her coffee and card playing times with friends were very important to her. A time of visitation, reflection and fellowship to celebrate the life of Gwen will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm.
