Gregory William Campbell aka "Jeep", of Griswold, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre after a long battle with Muscular dystrophy.

Born December 29, 1965 at the Souris Hospital, Greg went to elementary school in Alexander and high school in Brandon at Crocus Plains, where he enjoyed taking classes in welding. He worked in the family road construction business after high school until he was no longer able to due to his muscular dystrophy. During the summer months, he enjoyed driving his scooter around the farm, while in the winter months, he was confined to the indoors where he spent a lot of time playing videos and searching the internet on his laptop.

Jeep enjoyed many summers at the family cabin at Oak Lake Beach, having beers with his brothers and friends. He enjoyed visiting with others and was always part of the conversation. Jeep will always be remembered by his nieces and nephews as the cool uncle that had all the best video and computer games. The uncle that would play those games with them and often have lots of snacks to share.

Gregory is survived by his mother Marlene Campbell of Griswold, brother Brent (Gail) Campbell of Kemnay and their children Caitlin Campbell, Jessica Lee Campbell, Curtis (Ashley) Campbell and their son William, Devin Burdett, Jessica Ann Burdett and Josh (Zoe) Burdett; brother Darren (Jody) Campbell and their daughter Kendal (James Blyth). Greg was predeceased by his father Cordell "Red" Campbell, uncle Urshel Campbell, uncle Don Cowan, cousin Dale Cowan, grandparents R.J. and Marion Campbell and William and Mary Cowan.

A graveside service will take place at Griswold Cemetery on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
