HYNDMAN: Graeme Leonard Hyndman was born September 24, 1939 on the home farm at 26-12-20, R.M of Daly, and passed away on April 2, 2007 in Brandon. He was raised on the home farm and received his schooling at Oakleigh. He lived most of his life in the same district. At the age of sixteen he had an unfortunate farm accident resulting in the loss of his arm. He overcame the handicap and insisted on doing everything that anyone else would do. He spent most of his life as a farmer, and for a short while he ran the rural mail route. In 1998, he moved into Rivers, and in 2003 he moved into Brandon. Graeme's Life was filled with adversity and challenges, but he overcame most problems with a cheerful smile and determination to get on with life. He loved his camera and spent many hours in his darkroom, we all have many pictures made by him. He was predeceased by his parents, Joe and Isabella (Smith) Hyndman. He is survived by his sister Mary Sebastian; his brothers John (Gloria), Gene (Dotty), and Ken and many nieces and nephews. The Ceremony to Celebrate Graeme's Life was held on Monday, April 9, 2007 at the Rapid City United Church.
