Gordon David Freeman

Gordon “Gord” David Freeman passed away peacefully at Valleyview Care Centre, Brandon on Friday, May 1, 2026.

Gord was born and raised in Ochre River, Manitoba. He attended elementary school in Ochre and on to Dauphin where he attended Highschool at the DCTI.

Gord graduated in 1969 and started working at the Bank of Montreal. Throughout the years, he worked for Hudson Bay Co., Pioneer Grain, Minnedosa Esso and finished his working life as a School Bus Driver in Minnedosa, which he found very enjoyable.

He was not athletic but did enjoy baseball, curling and 5 pin bowling.

Gord is survived by his brother Bob Freeman, sister Sheila Reid, and his 3 daughters Alicia, Pam, and Jackie.

Gord was predeceased by his brother George Freeman and his parents Lloyd and Mary Freeman.
