Gordon Russell Davis, born October 25, 1955, passed away at the Cowichan District Hospital on July 29, 2023 at 67 years of age.

He was the loved brother of Ronald Davis, Valerie Weir, Cheryle Figgess, Brent Buchanan, Brian Buchanan and Sharon Klassen. He will also be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews and their children, and will also be lovingly remembered by his many friends.

He was predeceased by his Dad and Mom, Lorne and Doris Buchanan, and by his birth parents, Russell Davis and Phyllis Walker.

Gordon was born in Gladstone, Manitoba and spent all of his school years in Neepawa, Manitoba. He excelled in sports, particularly enjoying baseball; and was musically talented, playing a number of musical instruments.

Following his employment with CRA and then Xerox, he embarked on a round-the-world tour ending up teaching English in Taiwan for many years. Returning to Canada he worked for a marketing agency before finally settling down in Duncan, BC.

A memorial gathering will be held at Transfer Beach, Ladysmith, BC on August 10, 2023 at 1:30pm.

A service of Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa, Manitoba on August 25, 2023 at 3:30pm.
