GORDON JOHN HARVEY BULLER
October 16, 1971 - June 6, 2006
The death of Gord Buller, of High Bluff, beloved husband of Jill and dear father of Mercedes, son of Henry and Elsie Buller of Dauphin, occurred accidentally near Portage la Prairie on Tuesday, June 6, 2006. Gord was born on October 16, 1971, the youngest son of Henry and Elsie Buller of Dauphin formerly of Fork River. He was raised on the farm with his brother and sisters, attended school in Winnipegosis and graduated from high school in 1990. Gord accepted Jesus as his personal savior as a youngster and was baptized in 1999. Gord took Heavy Duty Mechanics at Assiniboine Community College in Brandon. He worked at Inventronics in Brandon for 8 years where he developed great skill at Metal Fabrication. Two years ago, Gord moved to Portage La Prairie to work with New Direction Equipment (Hi Tech Industries) in a similar capacity. He bought an acreage near High Bluff, Manitoba which became home to he and Jill after their marriage in June, 2005. Gord enjoyed living in the country, hunting, his motorcycles, and working on cars. He was on his way to work when a tragic accident took his life. He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, Jill and their baby daughter Mercedes Eleanor. Also remembering him are his parents Henry and Elsie Buller; mother-in-law Lynda Robar of Brandon; brother -in-law Tyrone Robar of Brandon; Jill's grandfather Gus Tippe of Wynyard, Saskatchewan; brother Gerald (Iris) and children Andrea and Anthony all of Kelowna, British Columbia; sisters Kathy (Dave) McGill of Winnipegosis, Manitoba and family Cyndi (Stan) Koshowskil and Liam of Niverville, Manitoba, Sheila McGill of Niverville, Manitoba, Melinda (Rich) Bidzinski of Kelwood, Manitoba, Marion (Gerald) Mann and sons Thomas and Aaron of Calgary, Alberta, Irma (Russell) Fast and children Jonathon, Renee, and Sarah all of Dickenson, North Dakota; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Gord was predeceased by a sister Marjorie in October 1999; grandparents John and Elizabeth Buller, Cornelius and Maria Janzen; Jill's grandmother Eleanor Tippe. The Ceremony to Celebrate Gord's Life was held at Calvary Temple,620-34th Street, Brandon on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Gary Jennings officiated. Interment followed in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens.
