METCALFE: The death of Gladys Marjorie Metcalfe occurred on Monday, February 21, 2005 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Marjorie was born in Brandon on May 9, 1923, the daughter of Jabez George and Lillian Elizabeth Collins. She received her education in Brandon. Marjorie worked for the T. Eaton Co., Safeway and McKenzie Seeds. She enjoyed her home and especially loved gardening. Marjorie was always interested in community events and all the things that were happening within the city. Her life centered around her family and close friends. Marjorie will be lovingly remembered by her children, Gail (Richard) Wray and Ron (Gay) Metcalfe; grandchildren, Robbie Metcalfe, Crystal Metcalfe, Melissa Lawrence and Jabez Wray; as well as her brother, Clarence Collins. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Kathleen Reed and brother, Ernest Collins. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 361 Russell Street, on Monday, February 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Paul Sakasov will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery.
