Anderson: Gladys Blanche ( nee Dixon), passed away Tuesday, October 14,2004. at the Assiniboine Centre in Brandon. Gladys was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, on January 13, 1927. The family lived in Beverley, Saskatchewan until they moved to Brandon in 1936. She attended school in the Brandon area and then began work working the T. Eaton Co. In 1950 she
married Kenneth Anderson of Brandon. They lived on their farm south of Brandon. Gladys worked in town for several years. In 2003 Gladys moved into the Village Green in Brandon. She is survived by her son Howard of
Brandon and his fiance Marilyn Adrian and her family. Her sister Myrtle (Peter) Nadler of Ottawa. Many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Also surviving are several sisters and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by husband Kenneth, her daughter Dixie-Lee Doak, her son-in-law Connor Doak and her grandson Travis Doak. Brothers Ralph Dixon and Howard Dixon. Her
parents Alfred (George) and Annie Dixon, several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Mom loved life, family and friends and especially her farm. Gladys and Kens home was always open to everyone where Gladys
wonderful meals were always served. She will be lovingly remembered by all. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Gladys to the Manitoba Lung
