Gerald Elwin Molberg, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the age of 80 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre.

Gerald was born on March 21, 1944, in Grandview, to Bill and Merle Molberg. Gerald lived a life full of hard work, dedication, and love for the outdoors.

Gerald began his education at Morranville School and continued at Grandview Collegiate. From a young age, he showed a strong work ethic, starting as a farm hand and later working as a miner for Inco in Thompson. His love for farming led him to purchase land and build his own grain and cattle farm. He worked for the municipality of Grandview as an equipment operator and retired in 2007.

He loved gardening, baking, fishing, hunting, and spending hours enjoying the outdoors.

Gerald is survived by his brother Chris Molberg; sister Cheryle Molberg, and several nieces and nephews.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents Bill and Merle Molberg; and brothers Raymond Molberg and Bruce Molberg.
