REID: The death of George Alexander "Alex" Reid, of Brandon, husband of Marguerite, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, June 10, 2004. Alex was born in Foxwarren, Manitoba on December 13, 1917, son of William Thomas and Rachel Margaret Reid. He grew up in the Foxwarren district farming the family farm until retiring to Brandon. Over the years, Alex was an active member in the Masonic Order and the Shrine Club. He is survived by; his wife Marguerite and a brother, Garnet William "Hap" (Ann) Reid. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Foxwarren Cemetery on Thursday, June 24, 2004 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Dwight Rutherford will officiate.
