Obituary

DYCK: George W. Dyck, beloved husband of Elfrieda, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on Thursday, February 19, 2004. His death was the result of an accident. George was born in the R.M. of Morton on November 12, 1933, the son of David and Agatha Dyck. He is survived by: his wife, Elfrieda; his three children, Gary (Brenda) Dyck of Stonewall, Heather (Robert) Lumsden and Christopher (Dana) Dyck of Winnipeg; his grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Matthew, Ian and Samuel. He also leaves: his sister and brothers, Mary (Henry) Neufeld of Winnipeg, Jake (Edna), David (Connie), Peter all of Boissevain and John (Jackie) of California. His extended family: Anne (Ed) Klassen of Carman, John (Jackie) Epp of Winnipeg, Helga (Len) Siemens of Regina, Verne (Paulette) Epp and Henry Bestvater and Ali Epp, all of Winnipeg. George was predeceased by his sister-in-law Helen Bestvater and brother-in-law Ben Epp. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Grace Mennonite Church, 951-10th Street, on Monday, February 23, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor George Derksen will officiate. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens. Friends who wish, may make a donation in memory of George to the Mennonite Disaster Service, c/o Grace Mennonite Church, 951-10th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4H2. Arrangements are with Memories Chapel & Pre-Planning Centre, 727-0330.
