MILLER: The death of Gayda Elizabeth "Betty" Miller, beloved wife of Bob Miller, dear mother and grandmother, occurred in Brandon on Tuesday, December 23, 2003. Complete obituary information will follow. GAYDA ELIZABETH MILLER: Betty Miller passed away quietly on December 23, 2003 at Fairview Home. Betty was born on February 9, 1927 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the only child of Eva May (James) and Wilfred Colbourne Duchesneau. The family moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she later met and married Robert Miller. Bob and Betty moved to Dauphin in 1959 ands enjoyed many years camping with family and friends. In 1972, they moved to Brandon, purchasing a small acreage and enjoying country life. Bob retired from Manitoba Telephone System in 1983 and Betty retired from McLeod's, where she worked for many years in both Dauphin and Brandon. They set out on the road, spending winters in Texas and Arizona until Betty's health made the decision for them to stay close to home. Betty is survived by: her husband and best friend of 57 years, Bob; their son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Cherie Miller of Winnipeg and their family; their daughter and son-in-law, Gayda and John Rempel of Brandon; their son and daughter-in-law, Tim Miller and Caroline Walker of Saskatoon, SK. There are four grandchildren; Gayda (Jean-Marc) Perron of Brandon, Ryan (Loni) Rempel of Brandon, Emily and Ethan Miller of Saskatoon and her two great grandchildren, Gayda Sydney Perron and Cole Rempel of Brandon. Cremation has taken place. A family service will he held at a later date. Expressions of Sympathy may be forwarded to memorieschapel@mts.net. There is no death
