Obituary
PEECH: Garry Brian Peech, beloved husband of Ruth, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, October 28, 2004. The Memorial Service will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Monday, November 1, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Mr. Todd Gabler will officiate. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Garry to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB R7A 7M6. Complete obituary information will follow. PEECH: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garry Brian Peech. Garry passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre on Thursday, October 28, 2004. He is survived by: his loving wife, Ruth; mother Pearl Browne; sister-in-law Cynthia; nephews Joel and Aaron; step sister-in-law Cathy Biernis; brother-in-law Wayne Stewart; mother-in-law Ina (Eric) Biernis and many friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his father Steve and brother Bob. Garry was born on August 9th, 1954 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 1974, he married Ruth Stewart, with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage this past June. He worked in the printing and locksmith trades until ill health disabled him. Garry was always positive and cheerful and never complained about his physical hardships. Garry had a passion for music, specifically the Blues. He was a great promoter and supporter of music of all kinds. He also had a great sense of humour and a quick wit. Garry's open mindedness and acceptance of people as they are made him friends from all walks of life. A private interment will be held in the Brandon Cemetery.
