Obituary

REID: The death of Garnet William "Hap" Reid of Brandon, husband of Ann, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, August 6, 2005. Hap was born at Foxwarren, Manitoba on August 29, 1920, son of William and Margaret Reid of Foxwarren. He taught school, worked for B/A Oil and Inter-City Gas. Hap was an active member of the Masonic Order, Khartum Temple, The Brandon Shrine Club and Order of the Eastern Star. He is survived by; his wife Ann and sister-in-law, Marguerite Reid. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Monday, August 15, 2005 at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Harvey Hurren will officiate. Masonic Rites will be observed. A private graveside ceremony will be held at the Foxwarren Cemetery on Tuesday, August 16, 2005. Donations in memory of Hap may be made to the Khartum Transportation Fund, 1155 Wilkes Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3P 1B9 or to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, Suite 302, 171 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 1M4.
