COCHRANE: The death of Garfield Vincent "Gary" Cochrane of Brandon, occurred at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Saturday, August 25, 2007. Mr. Cochrane was born in Ottawa, Ontario on July 4, 1939, son of Vincent and Mildred Cochrane. He served with the Department of National Defense for numerous years before settling in the Brandon area. He is survived by, his aunt Mrs. Marion Christie of Winchester, Ontario and her children, Betty Ann Christie, Michael Christie and Margaret Misener. According to his wishes no ceremony will be held. His remains will be forwarded to Ontario to be interred in the family plot in Winchester, Ontario. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
