HERSEY: On Saturday April 19, 2008 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, Gail Louise Hersey with her family by her side, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Gail was born in Brandon on January 10, 1959 to Bill and Jessie Roberts. She attended school in Brandon and after graduating in 1977, worked in the retail field for several years. Gail married Brian Hersey on September 1, 1979. She began a secretarial career with Dunwoody Co., Brandon School Division, Brandon Calvary Temple and ended with the Rolling River School Division. Gail is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Brian, her loving daughters Lisa and Breanna, her precious grandchildren Alissa and William, parents Bill and Jessie Roberts, sisters Judy (Dale) Elder and Joan Roberts, brother Bill Roberts, niece Kara Elder and nephew Brett Elder. The Ceremony to Celebrate Gail's Life will be held at Calvary Temple, 620-34th Street on Wednesday April 23 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor Ruth Denboer will officiate.
