Obituary

MCCULLAGH: Franklin Albert McCullagh of Winnipeg, formerly of Boissevain, passed away peacefully at the Seven Oaks Health Centre, Winnipeg on Tuesday, May 17, 2005. Franklin was born in Boissevain on June 10, 1944, son of the late Charles and Vivian McCullagh. Franklin had been a resident of Winnipeg since he was 16 year of age. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Shirley); sister, Avril (Jamie), and many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at the Killarney Cemetery on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Lawrence Smith of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Killarney will officiate. Flowers are gratefully declined. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Franklin to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind, 354-10th Street, Brandon, Manitoba R7A 4G1 or to a charity of choice. He was born in Boissevain on June 10, 1944, attended the C.N.I.B School in Brantford, ON and moved to Winnipeg when he was 16. Franklin is mourned by his brother, Richard (Shirley); sister, Avril (Jamie); nieces and nephews, many friends, especially dear friend Terry.
