SILEWICH: Frank, age 83 years, beloved husband of Mary, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, April 12, 2015. Frank was born on January 9, 1932 at Rossburn, Manitoba. He married Mary Kowal on May 17, 1958. Frank loved hunting, trapping, fishing, gardening, farming, carpentry and construction. Frank is survived by his wife Mary (nee Kowal) Silewich; sister Helen Deyholos of Grandview, Manitoba; sister-in-law Gladys Silewich of Grandview, Manitoba; brother-in-law Walter Kowal and friend Rose of Oakburn, Manitoba. He is also survived by nephews: David Deyholos of Ashville, Manitoba, Leonard (Theresa) Deyholos of Dauphin, Manitoba, and Curtis (Melissa) Silewich of Medicine Hat, Alberta; nieces: Patti (Doug) Lyle of Lorette, Manitoba and Kim (Brad) Chescu of Grandview, Manitoba; great nephews: Jeremy Deyholos, Jordy and Nolan Lyle, Bradyn, Brody and Brenden Chescu, as well as numerous relatives and friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents Matt and Tekla Silewich; brother Walter Silewich; one brother at infancy; brother-in-law Paul Deyholos. The Funeral Service took place at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Monday, April 20, 2015 with Fr. Michael Tkachuk officiating. Stella Fedeniuk was Cantor. Pallbearers were Leonard Deyholos, Claire Bartley, Paul Shipman, Ray Appell, John Jonasson and Stanley Kaskiw. Interment took place at the Brandon Cemetery with reception to follow at Memories Chapel.
