McKAY: The death of Frank John McKay of Brandon occurred at his residence, Rideau Park Personal Care Home on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Frank was born in Brandon on September 24, 1923, son of John and Sophie McKay. He was employed with the Canadian Pacific Railway as a conductor for his working years. He is survived by: his two sons, Robert and wife Stella Fedeniuk of Brandon and James and wife Bev and their children, Ryan, Trent and Scott of Calgary. He was predeceased by: his parents, wife, Irene (Peggy), a brother Joseph and sisters: Bernice, Stella, Mary and Helen. At the time of his death, Frank was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church. The Funeral Prayer Service will be celebrated at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North, on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 10:30 am. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church. Cantor will be Mr. Tony Yuriy. Interment will follow in the Brandon Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.memorieschapel.com.
