Francis Jones Elk “Chunska Wambdi Wichasta” (Eagle Hawk)
September 22, 1953 – July 10, 2026
It is with immense sadness the family of Francis Jones Elk announces his sudden passing on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre at the age of 72.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Candace; sons Patrick, Steven, Trevor (Felicia), Kevin, and Bob; daughters Nicole and Caitlin; brothers Donny (Agatha) and Dennis; sisters Marlene and June; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A traditional wake will take place at his home in Sioux Valley on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 6:00pm.
A service will take place the following day on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, with the interment following the service at the South End Cemetery.
