SAVILLE: It is with deep sadness that the family of Frances May "Franky" Saville announce her sudden passing at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, September 16, 2004. She was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on April 16, 1926. Franky was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Theresa May Farrar. She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Alfred Saville; children, Jack Greasley of Rivers, Jim (Anne) Greasley of Chandler, Arizona, Jo Ann (Shawn) Kennedy of King City, Ontario, Janice (Jeff) Worth of Rivers; step-children, Mary Ann (Ken) McCuaig of Winnipeg and Geraldine Saville of Yellowknife, NWT. She will also be missed by her eleven grandchildren, Kristy, Kendra, Kyle, Stephanie, Meaghan, Rebecca, Jenni, Jeffrey, Jerred, Erin and Heather; and great-grandchild, Larz. Franky was a unique person with many interests and talents. Her greatest legacy was the impact she had on others and her ability to always look for the positive side of the many challenges she encountered during her life. Franky was proud to have served as a WREN in the Royal Canadian Navy during the latter years of WW II. She utilized her green thumb talents and love of gardening. Franky was active in Rivers Community work and was a devoted member of the Rivers Baptist Church and a long time member of the Rivers Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. She loved her many cats, particularly her precious "Tink". In recent years, Franky and Alf enjoyed travelling and cruising. Together they travelled to numerous countries and shared many unique adventures. Franky was a devoted wife, truly loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her memory will live in our hearts.
