LAVINEWAY: Mom and Grandma, Fay Lillian Lavineway (nee Chesney) passed away peacefully at her home in Hillcrest Place on October 15, 2004. She was in her 80th year. Mom was a very loving and giving person all her life. She showed it through thirty plus years of dedication visiting sick veterans, selling poppies, working at Fairview Home where she showed love and concern for the residents and co-workers. Mom always had time for everyone and never forgot anyone who needed her. She has gone home to be with Dad where they can "Dance in Heaven" which they so loved to do. Surviving are: daughter, Gladys Hamnett; grandson, Kevin Hamnett; sister-in-law, Maude Lavineway; cousins; nieces; nephews; dear friends and comrades. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. John Wilderspin, Hospital Chaplain, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Veterans Section of Brandon Cemetery. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Fay to Hillcrest Place Personal Care Home, 930-26th Street, Brandon MB R7B 2B8.
