NOONAN: Ethel Isabelle Noonan of Fairview Home, Brandon passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2003. The graveside service will be held at the Brandon Cemetery on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Barb Jardine will officiate. Activer Urn Bearers will be Carole Ann Cassan and Denise Bromley. Honorary Bearers will be the grandchildren. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Ethel to either the Fairview Personal Care Home; Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, #3-824-18th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 5B7; Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 55 Bloor Street West, Suite 232, Toronto, ON M4W 1A6 or to a charity of choice. NOONAN: Ethel Isabelle Noonan of Fairview Home, Brandon passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2003. Ethel was born in Winnipeg on January 23, 1919 the daughter of William and Ellen McInnes. She was raised in Brandon residing on Percy Street and received her education while living here. She met the love of her life, Carl Noonan, in Brandon, and married him in Fort Erie, Ontario on August 31, 1940. She and Carl then moved back to Brandon. Ethel had a creative talent in painting, which led to employment as a colorist for Larry's Photo Studio. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, and a Guardian of Job's Daughters. Ethel's family and home were very important to her and she always put them first. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and made delicious dainties that her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren all enjoyed. Ethel is survived by: her daughters, Carole Ann (Robert) Cassan, and Denise (Don) Bromley; grandchildren, Carla (Roger) Chavez, Laura (Don) Chorney, Joel (Jodi) Bromley, Suzann Bromley (Don Lewis) and five great grandchildren. She will also be missed by; her sisters, Nellie Stamp, Ruth Carlson and a brother Duncan (Coline) McInnes. Ethel was predeceased by: her parents William and Ellen McInnes, her husband, Carl Noonan; infant son Roger Carl Noonan; brother Willie McInnes and sister Netta Ling. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Details of date and time will be published prior to the service.
