SCRIMSHAW: The death of Ernest Alfred Scrimshaw occurred in the city on May 31, 2007. Ernie was born in Ochre River, Manitoba on June 25, 1940, son of Ernest and Daisy Scrimshaw. He is survived by his two daughters; Melanie (Milton) Zepeda Flores and children, Mercedes and Ayden and Tamara Scrimshaw (George Hay) and children, Matthew and Joshua. Ernie was predeceased by his wife Hazel. The Funeral Ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 10:30 am. Mr. Ron Hanson will officiate. A graveside service will be held at the Roblin Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Donation in memory of Ernie may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, B727-10th Street, Brandon, MB R7A 4G7.
